Our home country experienced one of the wettest and hottest summers on record! Soaring temperatures and torrential downpours made for an unreliable season. Unsurprisingly, that’s our kind of summer and our customers, retailers and friends simply lapped it up. As a result, they’re getting their maps out in more places than ever this year!

CalMac Ferries, Ainsworth Jewellers and Jordan Wylie have all been embracing the wet in raising funds for some amazing charities. The RNLI, SSAFA Armed Forces Charity and Conflict Child are all benefitting from these heroes. SplashMaps were used in each campaign. We positively glowed to;
- see Jordan drape his chart over the Solent,
- find our maps providing the outdoors feel for rugged Elliot Brown watches and
- know our latest Ordnance Survey 1:50 000 Instagram maps raise funds for the RNLI
on boardthe regular Hebrides ferry service.
Partners steadily winning
As we stumbled on and off our paddleboards for the first time this year, our partners were steadily winning awards with first-to-the-market innovations. The ESEASTRAP SplashMap Toob guided boarders to the Top15 locations on the British Coast while, creatives -Sleepy Nico- picked up more awards for their SplashMap toddler carrier! Congratulations both!
In the heights
Mountain Energy forged solid teams from the groups they trained in the heights of the Alps. Culminating at the summit of the Matterhorn, the team loved the simple versatility of SplashMaps for taking bearings and staying on-track. They and others will report back to the RGS in November at the annual Explore event. Join us?

Meanwhile, In the heat of southern Europe SplashMaps found vantage points, guided walks, survived water parks, protected heads, helped in shopping and kept the sand off people’s sandwiches!

In Jolly England unique personalised maps have been shared from the South Downs and Chiltern Hills while the increasingly popular Harvey Map range have become essential kit for long distance challenges up and down the country.
7 times as many
