We’re thrilled to announce our latest SplashMaps Christmas winner!

To mark our SplashMaps Birthday and the launch of our new product Make-a-Map (a service that lets you choose exactly where you want a map and  prints you a terrific Ordnance Survey 1:25 000 Explorer map onto our amazing material) we held a “Best Map Title” competition!  The rules were simple.  Use our Make-a-Map service and give your map a title that tickles us the most.

You only get lost if you can’t get your map out!

Suzanne Hart of Arundel (on our South Downs Central map by-the-way) ordered a terrific map with a title that just reminded us of those outdoor navigation challenges!  The title “Seaford College D of E- no-one gets lost again!” implies soggy days and the map-o-phobia that hits you when you’re leading in the rain and the rapidly saturating map leaves you stranded.

It’s great to know that the Duke of Edinburgh adventurers will be finding their way on a unique combination of the Ordnance Survey Explorer map image printed onto our robust material.  What a winning combination!

Suzanne was delighted and said “I never win anything!”  Clearly her luck and her navigation have been improved in one go as she gets one of the maps she designed completely Free!
