We Have Ways Festival (19th-21st July)

James May, Dermot O'Leary, James Holland and Al Murray - just some of the experts on hand at the We Have Ways Festival
James May, James Holland, Al Murray & Dermot O’Leary are all WW2 experts you’ll meet!

Kicking off the festival season, SplashMaps will have a stand at the We Have Ways Festival on the weekend of 20th July. This festival, celebrated for its immersive World War II history experiences, finds us all camped out at the Blackpit Brewery in Buckinghamshire. Silk Escape and Evasion maps of WW2 were, of course, the forerunner to our waterproof, durable, and highly detailed SplashMaps. Our Normandy and other Battle maps mean we always attract a crowd of re-enactment, experts, historians and the odd celebrity.

We’re re-launching our NEW double sided microfibre D-Day80 Anniversary towel at the show! What’s unique? Beyond being the most practical of our battlefield maps, this one is reversible. It details US troop movements one side and the Commonwealth advances on the other. Perfect from all perspectives. Find it HERE.

Armchair Adventure Festival (25th-28th July)

The AAF24 is the best adventure festival for land and water based expeditions of all sizes

The following weekend, SplashMaps will be at the Armchair Adventure Festival, held on the beautiful grounds of Mount Edgcombe Country Park near Plymouth. This festival is a haven for adventure enthusiasts and storytellers who thrive on tales of exploration and daring escapades. SplashMaps host the Planning Yurt where you’ll enjoy one to ones with famous explorers sharing their experiences against a suitable fabric map. Discover why our maps, made from weather-resistant fabric, make the difference for water bourne, trail and camping adventures. Our maps can even be worn as bandanas, used as picnic blankets, or fashioned into makeshift shelters.
