Our retailers are an important part of getting SplashMaps on the high street. Around this time of year they’re essential to a lot of customers who either leave gift buying to the last minute or those who just get inspired by seeing or feeling SplashMaps at one of their familiar stores.
Right now we’re checking up on all 50 of our retailers to get the right stock in place. We’re driving people to their stores this year with news worthy articles and high profile adverts across the outdoor print media and on-line. We’ve even dedicated a film to one of our latest retailers, LookMumNoHands.
Trail, Country Walking, Obstacle Race Magazine, Wanderlust and Outdoor Magic are the national titles running our stories, placing us in their gift guides and sharing our distinctive adverts in the run up to Christmas. Winchester’s Discovery Magazine and Outdoor Enthusiast have begun by reporting a slanderous story on us stealing military ideas (us?!) whilst the Dundee Telegraph will run a competition SplashMaps on the high street. Consumer Choice, Mud and Routes and The Test Pit will put our maps through their paces in product tests and gift guides too.
