Another positive review as SplashMaps is covered by the BBC’s Countryfile magazine!
We’re alongside well established weatherproof specialists like Vaude, Lowe Alpine, NikWax and The North Face in their review of wet weather kit for the autumn. They highlight probably the most important benefit, that “…You can stuff these all-weather maps in your pocket, safe in the knowledge that they won’t fall apart if soaked.” A real need for all those that don’t let rain stop play! See review at the bottom of this page.
The Countryfile team tested the Yorkshire Dales SplashMap. Since the report was written we’ve listed a dedicated Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks SplashMap on our website. This title was commissioned by Yorkshire Dales NPA, holds their and the Three Peak challenge brands and has been selling well all summer through two of their visitor centres.
How many maps do you know that have featured as rainproof kit in a magazine review like this?
We’re flattered of course. Inclusion in this review demonstrates what we strongly believe; kit to be used for the REAL outdoors should be designed for the REAL outdoors!
