The Bike Press at Silverstone’s Wing Paddock

It’s not the most obvious place to find the latest Bike (as in bicycle) gear, but Bike Place at Silverston race track has been abuzz with the latest offerings to distributors in the UK.

It was great to meet James from Primal and talk intricacies of print, Lee at the Gazeebo Shop and thank him for our amazing map-tent, Sean from The Bike Place who showed me around and Chris Davison from the Mountain Works who distributes our favourite Vaude tents.

Jack and the Bikemonger

Most of all, so good to catch-up with Charlie and his team from Bikemonger.  They’ve been great SplashMaps customers for 2 years now selling Weymouth, Exmoor and Purbeck Island Maps from their unique shop in Swanage.  Jack showed so much enthusiasm for our latest German map that it looked as if someone has just administered his latest product for him.  Check out their new bum butter!
