License to print

Another show!  Another amazing license to print the world and get it into your hands!

We’ve already made our own cartography based upon open data in Great Britain and OpenStreetMap anywhere else in the world. But now, having signed at the London Book Fair, SplashMaps have a license to print anywhere in the world with Harper Collins too!

This follows our agreements to print Ordnance Survey, A to Z and Harvey Maps.  So we now have the most familiar cartography in the UK for cities, long distance trails and rural discoveries.  For the rest of the world we create walking/ cycling scale mapping of absolutely anywhere.

It’s an amazing position to be in; SplashMaps is a highly scaleable business with a completely unique product that can now be styled for most uses.

While there it was great to meet A to Z’s new digital head, Simon Kettle, to outline future work together.

And at the selling end? Doubly good to deal with publishers and distributors, all keen to help get SplashMaps into even more hands.

Is a license to print unique fabric maps a license to print money?  The review will be in August.  Stay tuned!
