International Guild of Battlefield Guides

We’re delighted to announce our official friendship with the International Guild of Battlefield Guides (IGBG) — a title we wear with real pride. While our relationship with the Guild stretches back nearly a decade, this formal recognition marks a special milestone in a partnership built on shared passion, practical collaboration, and a deep respect for the craft of battlefield guiding.

For almost 10 years, members of the IGBG have been part of our story. From the early days, when guides began uploading their own bespoke battle maps to our site, to countless conversations on windswept fields and busy show floors, their insight has helped shape what we do. Together, we’ve focused on one goal: improving how battlefield history is interpreted, explained, and experienced.

Designed for Real-world Guiding

Our fabric maps sit at the heart of that mission. Designed for real-world guiding, they can be pinned to the ground under rocks, stuck to vans with magnets, or annotated on the fly with scribbled lines as the story unfolds. They’re robust, flexible, and made to work exactly where guides need them most — out on the battlefield, whatever the weather. Knowing that these tools have genuinely enhanced the world of battlefield guiding makes this recognition all the more meaningful.

Latest releases announced in Portsmouth

This weekend, we’ll be celebrating properly as I address the IGBG AGM in Portsmouth. At the event, I’ll be sharing our latest releases, including new WWII D-Day maps and our Development of Warfare series, both created with guides firmly in mind.

Working together in the field

We’re incredibly grateful to the IGBG for this acknowledgement after many years of collaboration — from sharing stand space with their members to continually adapting our products to be the perfect guide’s guide. Here’s to an official friendship built on history, trust, and many more years of working together in the field.
