Hosted by the Scientific Exploration Society, this prestigious evening celebrates groundbreaking explorers who combine daring expeditions with vital ecological and scientific research. It’s also where the Society reveals recipients of its globally respected sponsored grants—fueling the world’s most purposeful adventures.
Then from 31st October to 2nd November, head to the Royal Geographical Society’s Explore Weekend. Based in the historic Kensington Gore building—launchpad of the world’s greatest expeditions—this is the UK’s only event dedicated to planning expeditions, field projects, and meaningful journeys. Expect inspiration, expert advice, and an unmatched opportunity to connect with fellow adventurers.
