SplashMaps guide the Best Independent School in the United Kingdom!

SplashMaps are well established with today’s adventurers, but it’s a double buzz when we can get mapping to the next generation.

The next generation of adventurers

We already have a great offer for any participant in the Duke of Edinburgh Award and run competitions that mean Scouts and Cubs get the maps too!

And our growing relationship with Wildgoose education means we’ve perfect offerings (aerial images and blown-up OS maps on fabric) for educating in the classroom and in the playing field.

But this week an order came in from the The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School in Elstree.

The school was recently voted Independent School of the Year 2017 by the Sunday Times, partly for their commitment to co-curricular activities (including the Duke of Edinburgh Award).  So it was doubly good that their Contingent Commander and DofE leader, Lt Col N Woodall made a personalised map then phoned me the day it arrived to ask for more for his team!

I enjoyed our conversation so much I took his personalised map (with his permission) and made it our standard product for Tring (which makes it way cheaper for you!).  Find it here.

Nigel positioned the with the centre between Tring and Berkhamsted to take in the great running, walking, hiking and biking trails of the area.  Monosyllabically titled “Tring”, it’s a fabulous chunk of the Chiltern Hills everyone should visit.  See SplashMaps in use in the Chilterns here.

Want to define your neighbourhood

Want to set up a product for your neighbourhood?  It’s simple!  Just make a personalised map with a nice generic title that describes your patch and in the notes section of your order, just ask me to set it up as a product!  Then all your friends can get the map for £6.50 less!

So here’s to the next generation of explorers, or even just those that belong to a club, ride, walk or run in the rolling countryside of Hertfordshire!
