We’re in SESAME again!

I’m constantly amazed and inspired by the people who fill their shopping carts at SplashMaps‘ on-line super store. Professional Adventurers of every kind; Travel writers, Expedition leaders, Survival Instructors, Bushcraft heroes, military types and even civilian security experts working in the worlds’ hotspots. Each have their own reasons for needing maps that last; some are a precaution for when their lives are in danger, others need a map of literally anywhere… and only SplashMaps can supply.

We’re in the Scientific Exploration Society journal again this month, SESAME. It’s not the largest distribution of the magazines we feature in, but it’s definately distributed to the most awe inspiring. We’re sharing the limited space of the A5 pamphlet with John Blashford-Snell, Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Dr Sam Allen who recently returned from Sierra Leone and working on the Ebola front line.

John Blashford-Snell is an inspiration for SplashMaps, so we make him a map for every one of his worthy expeditions.  More about John’s amazing life of service to Adventure, Nature and those in need  from the Sunday Telegraph.

SESAME celebrates purposeful discovery and is a testament to the generosity I often see among those with an adventurous streak. They travel far and take huge risks to offer much needed resource in areas in need.  You can’t help but be inspired by these Professional Adventurers and we’re very proud to serve them.
